How we make ESAS fragrances

Real ingredients. Each and every one of them disclosed.

Real fragrance starts with knowing what goes into it.

Every ingredient starts as a plant, captured in one of five gentle ways. Most of our formulas use just a handful of ingredients, with no toxic inputs at any step. Here’s exactly what each method means.

  1. Steam distillation

    Steam passes through flowers and woods and carries their essential oil out with it.

    Centuries-old perfumery

  2. CO2 extraction

    Pressurized carbon dioxide draws out the full aroma, then turns back to gas. Nothing left behind.

  3. Organic alcohol extraction

    Delicate petals and resins are soaked in organic, plant-based alcohol to gently lift their scent.

  4. Cold-pressing

    A purely physical method: citrus peels are pressed to release their oil. No heat, no solvents.

What comes in the box?

A sealed {name} 1 oz (30 mL) eau de parfum, with a 1.5 mL {name} sample packed on top. The sample is free and yours to keep.

How long do I have to decide?

14 days from the day your order is delivered. Email hello@esasnyc.com any time in that window and we'll send you a return label.

Does the bottle have to stay sealed?

Yes. Use the sample as much as you like, and keep the 1 oz box and its seal intact if you might return it. Once the seal is broken, the bottle follows our standard return policy.

How do I start a return?

Email hello@esasnyc.com with your order number within 14 days of delivery. We'll reply with a return label. Keep the 1 oz sealed in its box.

When will I get my refund?

Within 10 business days of the sealed bottle reaching us, back to your original payment method.

Is it the same formula as the full size?

Yes. The 1 oz is the same formula as our 1.7 oz bottle.

When will my order arrive?

Orders are processed in 1–2 business days and delivered in 3–7 business days.
