So- I know after a few days of receiving your order, you get an email asking for your review. I COULDN'T WAIT THAT LONG. I opened my box an hour ago, and I'm left to beg for this to be a permanent scent. Iris Milk is so. dang. good. It's like peeking through a translucent vanilla veil into a room full of lilac and orris. HEAVENLY.

I am a huge fan of Esas and my go-to scents are Bare, Sweet Cream and Vanilla, and A La Mer. I love vanilla fragrances, so when I saw Iris Milk, I automatically pre-ordered a travel size bottle. I received the most feminine, intoxicating scent and I haven't used any of my other perfumes since. Another reviewer mentioned that this "whispers, not shouts" and I agree completely. People only smell it on me when they are close or hug me. I mainly smell vanilla, with a subtle note of soft floral. Esas - please make Iris Milk permanent! This scent is incredibly beautiful, and if you love vanilla, I promise you need Iris Milk!

Esas Iris Milk is absolutely stunning and earthy, nostalgic, and effortlessly fresh. It smells like fresh fennel on a breezy summer day, with a soft, beachy elegance that’s hard to describe but impossible to forget. I wore it on a walk with my husband, and he remarked how beautiful the spring air smelled…only to realize it was me. That moment says it all.

It’s light and close to the skin, which I love. Unlike louder perfumes, this feels like a secret, something only those close to you get to enjoy. For context, I also wear Eau Naturalle and Bare. Both beautiful. Eau Naturalle being my go to.

I’m really picky when it comes to perfume, I don’t like anything overpowering and I love warm sweet scents. The best scent I’ve tried from this brand is Eau Naturelle and Sweet Cream Vanilla. If you love vanilla, warmth, and very subtle floral/earth notes this scent is for you! I tried A La Mer, Bare, Gardenia and Lily and all of them were too strong for me. This perfume is perfect for spring, everyday wear, or even date night. It’s warm, creamy, with a light vanilla scent that is ever so subtly earthy. My husband even could smell the vanilla immediately and liked it and he’s not a fragrance person. Please keep this around Esas, I don’t want to ever run out of this one, I’ve fallen in love with it!

for me this scent is definitely the most interesting and appealing right after initial application, where you get some of the greener, dewier notes from what I'm assuming is the iris and maybe the grape leaf or something else. after maybe 30 minutes it becomes a very powdery sweetness on me, with much more emphasis on the powdery notes rather than creamy or velvety. honestly the vanilla was not as prominent on me as i anticipated either. of course these are all somewhat subjective terms and i knew to expect the powdery notes from these florals, but the drydown wasn't as dimensional/complex as i'd hoped - i feel like i could get a similar effect from a different fragrance. i'm not the biggest fan of powdery scents and had hoped that this would be more creamy on me, but unfortunately not the case for my skin chemistry! it doesn't smell bad on me and the longevity is okay, but i personally would not buy this again as it's just not quite my taste even though the written description sounds nice.
